A collection for Ukraine is taking place for the Red Cross at Tesco In Maynooth today.
Kevin Landers is a firefighter in Maynooth, he said he will be there until 6pm taking donations.
Kevin's partner and her daughter are stuck in Ukraine at the moment.
He told KFM that sirens are going off everyday in Ukraine and that food supplies are low.
He said his partner still has running water and electricity but that the WIFI is not the best.
