Councillor: Rats Have Infested A Kildare Housing Estate.

Many homes in the Sallins development are, or were, owned by KCC.

Rates have infested a Kildare housing estate.

That's according to Social Democrats Cllr., Bill Clear.

He says there is a "serious vermin infestation" in parts of St Brigids Terrace, Sallins, and adds its particularly problematic in the "lane ways and properties"

The councillor wants Kildare County Council to "devise a plan to eradicate the vermin."

His motion will be debated at the October meeting of the Naas Municipal District.
