CAB disrupts the activities of criminal gangs by depriving them of ill-gotten assets.
Kildare sits prominently in the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) strategy to combat crime through asset seizure and disruption of criminal networks.
Recent data highlights the extensive training and deployment of Divisional Asset Profilers across various Garda Divisions, with a notable emphasis on the Eastern Region, including Kildare.
In the Eastern Region, the Laois/Offaly/Kildare division stands out with 31 trained Divisional Asset Profilers.
Commenting on the figures, Justice Minister Helen McEntee said: "Since its inception, the Bureau has been at the forefront of fighting organised crime in this jurisdiction and disrupting the activities of criminal gangs by depriving them of ill-gotten assets."
