That's above the national increase, of 13%.
Kildare house prices have soared by 16.4% in the 12 months to the end of Quarter Two.
That's according to the latest report by Daft.ie.
The pace of increase in the county is notably ahead of the national increase, of 13%.
The average price of a house in Kildare is €299,000.
In areas such as Kerry and Waterford, prices have increased by as much as 21 per cent.

But architect and housing expert Mel Reynolds says these are advertised prices, not final sale prices.
He says the most recent CSO stats show sales prices are up by 4.5 per cent.
