The news comes following the recent Clane-Maynooth MD meeting.
Kildare County Council has confirmed that "significant drainage improvement works" will be carried out at St Joseph's Cemetery in Boycetown, Kilcock.
It's planned for these works to take place during the summer months.
At the recent Clane-Maynooth MD monthly meeting, Fianna Fail Cllr. Paul Ward brought forward a motion, requesting that the council undertake the works to "resolve current difficulties" in the graveyard.
Cllr. Ward went on to explain that there are recurring problems in terms of drainage/water table issues.
In it's response, Kildare County Council said it is hoped that the work due to be carried out in the summer, will help improve ongoing drainage difficulties during the wet seasons.
