Naas Roads Policing Unit stopped a driver, and found they were banned from the roads.
The motorist subsequently failed a roadside drugs test, which returned indications for cocaine.
The driver was arrested and their vehicle seized.
Gardai say a court appearance is to follow.
Naas Roads Policing Unit were operating a checkpoint in Rathangan lately when they stopped this motorist and found them to be a disqualified driver.

The motorist was arrested and the vehicle impounded.
