Ex-pats aiming to return to Ireland are a major reason why more homes are sold for over one million euro, according to an auctioneer.
Five homes in Co. Kildare were sold for over €1 million between January & June of this year - the same figure was recorded during the first 6 months of 2021.
Wicklow, Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Donegal are some of the counties where homes were sold for seven figures in the first half of 2022, according to the Irish Independent.
Analysis found 178 homes in total went for over €1 million in the first six months of 2022, compared to 129 in the same period last year.
