Food and essential items are requested.
A Sallins resident has organised the collection of food sanitary products and some clothes to send over to people fleeing from Ukraine.
Magdalena Godzien is from a town called Przemyl on the Polish / Ukraine border.
She is sending boxes of aid for the huge amount of refugees coming over the border into Poland.
The items needed at the moment:
- nappies
- baby wipes.
- baby cleaning products.
- baby food (jars, fruit tubes etc)
- small toys, crayons, coloring books.
- toothbrushes (all sizes)
- toothpaste.
- soap bars.
- Sanitary products for women.
- pants and socks (all sizes)
- single use duvet covers, pillow covers, bedsheets
- blankets (all sizes)
Magdalena has told KFM that people can bring donations to her address, 21 Sallins Bridge, Sallins.
A drop of location is also available at the Sallins Community Centre and at the Westgrove Hotel in Clane.
