Over 70 activities across the county
Following the difficulties from the past 2 years, the Heritage Council & Local Authority Officers have noted this year's events are about "engaging with heritage to create a more resilient world, enhancing sustainability and biodiversity."
Kildare's Heritage Officer, Bridget Loughlin has noted over 70 events are taking place, from August 13th, "many of which are organised by history, heritage and tidy towns groups to showcase their local heritage."
2022's schedule of events include boats, biodiversity, talks & tours, ceilís & crafts.
The majority of the week's events are free, but booking may be required to secure attendance to certain events.
KFM Radio will broadcast its 'Famous Kildare People' and 'Town & Village Local Histories' features across all programmes during the 10 days.
