The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation reported 8 patients without beds in the Emergency Dept. yesterday.
That's increased to 16, today.
Nationwide, there are 397 people on trolleys.
Over-crowding is most acute at University Hospital, Limerick, where 67 patients are on gurneys.
