The Irish Examiner reports that the award could create 10,000 jobs at the Kildare campus, which is Intel's European HQ.
Intel already employs 4,000 people on that 360 acre site, in which it has invested over $30 billion.
The Irish Examiner reports that the "investment will be the first test of Ireland's ability to attract huge projects after the Government last month signed up to the global accord to increase corporation tax to 15%. "
