It Could Be 2022 Before More Accessible Play Equipment Installed In Athy Park.

Basket and jet-fighter swings are now in place in The People's Park.

It could be next year before consideration is given to the installation of more wheelchair accessible play equipment in an Athy playground.

Kildare County Council has confirmed the installation of basket and jet-fighter swings in The People's Park.

Labour Cllr. Mark Leigh says there is €50,000 to be spent on the park next year, which could finance a wheelchair accessible swing.

Cllr. Leigh joined Eoin Beatty on Thursday's edition of Kildare Today on all of his motions before the July meeting of the Athy Municipal District
