There are around 5,000 rate paying firms in Kildare.
The report also notes €2.1m in community grants, supporting almost 1,000 different initiatives across the county.
KCC hosted over 28,000 appointments with members of the public last year, as Covid 19 restrictions limited access to its buildings, and hosted 119 meetings of the full council, Municipal Districts and sub committees.

Fine Gael Cllr., Mark Stafford, was Mayor of Kildare for most of 2020.
He joined Eoin Beatty on Monday's edition of Kildare Today with an analysis of the local authority's operations.
There's been a drop of almost 40% in the number of households in Kildare assessed as having a housing need.
The annual report shows that, in 2016, 5,5725 families or individuals were deemed to need social housing.
However, by last year, that had reduced to 3,104.
This may be partly attributable to the increasing number of households in the county in receipt of the Housing Assistance Payment, some 2,398.
People accommodated via the HAP scheme are considered to have their housing need met.
