Update: Kildare County Council Announces Park Closure This Sunday Due To Forecast

Kerdiffstown park awaits weather clearance to reopen

Update: In an update from Kildare County Council on Monday, January 6th, Kerdiffstown Park will remain closed today due to snowfall over the weekend and the resulting ground conditions within the park.

Due to the continuing low temperatures, the council said it is likely that the park will remain closed until later this week.

A further announcement regarding the reopening of the park will be made as the week progresses, once ground conditions within the park improve and are considered safe for the public.

Due to forecasted weather conditions, Kildare County Council have announced that Kerdiffstown Park will be closed to the public on Sunday the 5th of January.

A further announcement regarding the reopening of the park will be made on Monday 6th January, once weather conditions have been assessed.

Kildare County Council advises that people should monitor Met Éireann forecasts and/or visit https://www.met.ie/ for the most up to date information.
