Submissions can be made until 30th of March.
Kildare County Council has commenced a Part 8 Planning Consultation for the proposed development of a new library at the site at Units 8 & 9, The Village Centre in Clane.
The proposed development will include the change of use of the existing retail units to use as a library, elevation changes to the existing buildings, a rear extension to existing buildings as well as alterations and new landscaping to the existing car-park and pedestrian access.
Details of the proposed development can be viewed online on Kildare County Council’s consultation portal and submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development are invited via the online portal or in writing by 5pm on Thursday 30th March.

Written submissions should be titled “Clane Library – Planning Submission – Planning Reference P82023.01” and addressed to:
