Kildare County Council Nominated For 4 Excellence In Local Government Awards.

The ceremony will take place in November.

Kildare County Council has been nominated for four Excellence in Local Government Awards.

The competition is manged by Chambers Ireland, and the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage.

They say they "nd highlight the positive impact of local government across Ireland."

In total, 90 projects from 20 local councils have been announced as finalists this year.

KCC has been short-listed in the Local Authority Innovation, Sustainable Environment, Best Library Service and Enhancing the Urban Environment categories.

The award ceremony will take place on November 18th.
