The detection was made by Naas Roads Policing Unit.
The driver was stopped, and fines and penalty points were issued.
Gardai say proceedings are to follow.
Naas Roads Policing Unit were conducting speed checks on the M4 this weekend when they detected this car travelling at 152kph in a 120kph zone.

While 12 motorists were detected speeding in Prosperous during a separate Naas District Garda operation.
The operation was mounted "in relation to public complaints about speeding in this 50kmh zone. "
All drivers caught speeding have been issued with fines of €80 and 3 penalty points, each.
