
KCC says the junction will be shut for 18 days, in total.
Kildare County Council is proposing to shut the Kildare junction off the M7 from June 18th.
It is to facilitate road realignment and roundabout installation.

Alternative Routes: Northbound vehicles travelling on the R415 towards Kildare will divert left at the junction of R415/L7024 (circa 3km) to the L3004. Southbound vehicles travelling on the R415 towards Nurney will divert straight on at the junction of R445/R415 (circa 3km) to the R415. Southbound vehicles travelling on the M7 intending to exit at Junction 13 towards Fontstown will divert at Junction 12 M7 via R416. Northbound vehicles travelling on the M7 intending to exit at Junction 14 towards Fontstown will divert at Junction 12 M7 via R417. |
Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
