Kildare County Council is inviting residents' feedback
A public consultation on Leixlip's Draft Town Renewal Plan closes on Friday.
The nationwide Town and Village Renewal Scheme was introduced in 2016 and is one of a series of government measures designed to rejuvenate rural towns and villages
Kildare County Council says "We are actively pursuing opportunities to rebalance our streetscapes into people-orientated rather vehicular-orientated spaces, prioritising compact growth and a town centre first approach to development and seeking to progress priority regeneration projects for the community of Leixlip."
Kildare County Council is inviting residents' feedback the deadline for submissions is August 20th.

Fine Gael Cllr., Joe Neville, is Mayor of the Celbridge Leixlip MD.
Speaking to Kildare Today, he says the consultation is seeking ideas on the use of notable buildings in the town.
