Mick Mullen Elected As Kildare GAA Chairman With Larry Curtin As Vice-Chairman

The convention took place last night

 

The Annual Kildare GAA convention took place in Cedral St Conleth’s Park last night.

Celbridge’s Mick Mullen will succeed Mick Gorman as the county Chairman, after he defeated Bryan Murphy by 95 votes to 85.

Rathangan’s Larry Curtin is the new Vice-Chairman.

Christine Murray was returned as Secretary, Alan Dunney as Treasurer and Lorraine Woulfe as PRO.

The full list of elected officers is as follows:

Cathaoirleach (Chairperson): Mick Mullen, Celbridge

Leas-Cathaoirleach (Vice Chairperson): Larry Curtin, Rathangan

Rúnaí (Secretary): Christine Murray, Moorefield

Cisteoir (Treasurer): Alan Dunney, Caragh

Oifigeach Caidreamh Poibli (PRO): Lorraine Woulfe, Naas

Oifigeach na gCluichi (Coaching Officer): Eamonn Costello, Kilcock

Oifigeach na Gaeilge (Irish Officer): Paul Delahunty, Milltown

Comhairle Laighean (Leinster Council Delegates X 2): Ger Donnelly, Castlemitchell and Dave Cahill , Clane

Ard Chomhairle (Central Council Delegate): Colm Farrell, Johnstownbridge
