A motorist in Kildare has been arrested, and charged with dangerous driving.
Naas Roads Policing Unit detected the driver travelling at 102kph in a 50kph zone in Newbridge.
They were detained, and are facing proceedings.
Gardai say conviction on this charge may bring disqualification for up to 2 years as well as facing a €5000 fine and up to 6 months in prison.
