Management of the Resort issued a statement to Kfm
There are "no plans" to accommodate International Protection (IPAS) applicants at Moyvalley Hotel and Golf Resort.
Following queries from listeners, Kfm contacted the hotel for a statement and asked for clarification on the matter.
Management of the Resort said they had spoken with the owners and received confirmation that there are no such plans.
It was pointed out that the Resort will be undergoing a sale process later in the year, but no confirmed sale has taken place as of yet.
Rumours were circulating online and in the local area that refugees would be moving into the site, but management told Kfm that they are only "rumours".
