No Respite For House Hunters Across Kildare As Prices Continue To Climb

The average price of a home in the county is now €356,000, 7% below its Celtic Tiger peak.

There's no respite for house hunters as prices continue to rise.

In Kildare, prices in the second quarter of 2024 were 6% higher than a year previously, compared to a rise of 4% seen a year ago.

The average price of a home is now €356,000, 7% below its Celtic Tiger peak.

Economist Ronan Lyons, Author of the Daft report, says it's a simple case of supply and demand.
