Access to this road is restricted.
Today Kildare County Council will be carrying out surface dressing works on the road L557 (Obelisk Lane/Kilmacreddock).
To facilitate these works, KCC says it will restrict access to this road and diversions will be in place.
Diversions and planned works will operate between 8am and 8pm.
KCC staff will be located at each junction affected and they will assist members of the public with the relevant information relating to the road works.
In the event the surface dressing works are incomplete by the end of today, KCC will remove the diversions that evening, leaving the road fully operational overnight but reinstate the diversion tomorrow morning to complete the works.
