Including a vehicle travelling on the N7, in Castlewarden.

During the first four days of the bank holiday weekend, there were three fatalities as a result of traffic collisions on our roads.

This brings the total number of fatalities on Irish roads this year to 14.

In excess of 1,000 drivers were detected for speeding offences during the first four days of the operation.

Notable top speeds detected included a vehicle travelling 125kph in a 100kph zone on the N7, in Castlewarden.
