If approved, the solar farm will operate for 35 years.
Cadamstown Solar Limited has submitted a planning application to build a large solar farm in Mulgeeth and Mucklon.
The project will cover 80.9 hectares and will take 10 years to complete.
The solar farm will have metal frames with solar panels, transformer stations, small buildings, and internal roads.
The area will be fenced with CCTV cameras and access gates.
The solar farm will operate for 35 years and produce about 56MW of electricity for the national grid.
An environmental report has been prepared to ensure the project won't harm the local ecosystem.
