Property Prices In Kildare Have Risen By Over €10K

The median asking price for a property in the county is now €310,000.

The rate at which house prices are rising has gone up by 7.5 per cent nationally over the year.

Today's MyHome.ie report shows one in seven of homes is now selling for 20 per cent over the asking price.

It says the country's exceptional population and labour market growth has put intense pressure on the housing market.

Property prices across Kildare have risen by €10,000 during the quarter.

The median asking price for a property in the county is now €310,000.

This means prices have risen by €30,000 compared with this time last year.

Asking prices for a 3-bed semi-detached house in the county rose by €9,000 over the quarter to €299,000.

This means that prices in the segment have risen by €40,000 compared to this time last year.

Meanwhile, the asking price for a 4-bed semi-detached home in Kildare fell by €10,000 over the quarter to €355,000.

This price is up by €25,050 compared to this time last year.

There were 543 properties for sale in Kildare at the end of Q3 2024 – a decrease of 1 per cent over the quarter.

The average time for a property to go sale agreed in the county after being placed up for sale now stands at just over two months.
