Kildare County Council is providing a free service to the public where they can bring their real Christmas trees to be recycled in a sustainable way.

The sites are as follows:
- Meeting Lane Carpark, Athy
- Celbridge Interchange County Yard
- Clane GAA Club
- Fairgreen in Naas
- Lidl Distribution Centre in Newbridge
- Maynooth Council Depot beside the Fire Station
- Moore Abbey Coillte Carpark in Monasterevin
The Christmas trees are shredded, and the mulched trees are made available to be used on local landscaping projects.
The sites are open from today, Friday, until Monday, January 20th.
