Today, Bank Holiday Monday 5th June 2023, as part of the Junefest Festival 2023 in Newbridge there will be a road closure on Main Street Newbridge.
This road closure will started today at 11am Monday 5th June and will finish at 5 pm.
This Road Closure is to facilitate the Junefest Street Party that will be taking place on Main Street Newbridge from 12noon to 4pm.
The road will be barrier offed from Canning Place (Johnsons Public House) to the Bank of Ireland Main Street allowing for the area to be pedestrianised for the 4-hour period.
Local Traffic Plan and Diversions are in place from 11am.
Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted.
An Garda Síochána & Kildare Civil Defence will be present at Road closure points and will be there to assist.
Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained during the event.
