Six Data Centres Planned Near Naas

The proposal includes the construction of a large data centre complex in the townlands of Halverstown, Jigginstown, and Newhall.

Plans are to be lodged for a significant development project near Naas.

The proposal includes the construction of a large data centre complex in the townlands of Halverstown, Jigginstown, and Newhall.

The planned development will feature six two-storey data centre buildings.

Meanwhile, Microsoft is developing proposals for a data centre in Jigginstown, near Naas.

A site was zoned for data centre development by Kildare County Council in the Naas Local Area Plan 2021- 2027.

Survey work was carried out by contractors at that site last month.
