There's a significant drop in the number of patients on trolleys
Six patients are on trolleys in Naas General Hospital today.
This is a significant drop on Friday's figure which stood at 15.
Friday's figure was one of the lowest the hospital had seen in weeks, with over 20 patients waiting for beds each day in the week's prior.
Nationally, 477 admitted patients are waiting for beds, according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch.
Some 334 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 143 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected.
