The Dept. of Housing has released May's figures.
There's been a reduction in the number of people homeless in Kildare.
144 people were living in emergency accommodation in the county in May, a drop from 164 in Apirl.
That's according to Dept of Housing.

There were 155 people in Meath and 28 in Wicklow in homelessness in May.
The three counties, together, make up the Mid-East region, where 49 families with 110 children were living in emergency accommodation.
Nationally 7,991 people were homeless in Ireland, in May, a drop from 8,082 in the previous month.
Dublin Simon says it's concerned about the duration of time spent by single adults in emergency accommodation, with 67 per cent now spending over six months in emergency housing situations.
