
Athy, Clane, Celbridge, Kilcock, Leixlip, Maynooth & Newbridge will host parades.
Several towns in Co. Kildare will host St. Patrick Day Parades this afternoon.
Events will take place in Athy, Clane, Celbridge, Kilcock, Leixlip, Maynooth & Newbridge.
Athy
The parade begins at 3pm, at the Athy Industrial Estate.
This year's Grand Marshalls are the Lord Mayor, City of Manchester Cllr. Tommy Judge & the Mayoress Lady Carole Judge.
Celbridge
The parade itself begins at 4pm, but celebrations are due to begin from 2.45pm, with live music performed by SIna Theil.
The town will have an Accessible Viewing Area of the parade, located in front of St. Patrick's Church.
Celbridge's main street will remain closed between 2.30 & 5.30pm.
Clane
Clane's Festival parade begins at 3pm, live streaming from 2.50pm here.
Between 2pm & 5pm Clane's Main Street will close to facilitate the festivities.
The parade will begin at the Kilcock Road junction & finish at the County market.
Kilcock
Kilcock's parade will begin at 1.30pm.
The theme for this year's parade 'A Bright Brand New Day'.
SUSO Gospel Choir will perform from 12.30 - 1pm, outside the music school.
Church Street, into the square is advised to be the best viewing spot, with barriers in place.
Leixlip
The town's parade begins at 1pm.
Participants will assemble from 12pm.
Maynooth
Maynooth's parade kicked off the earliest in the county, at 11am this morning.
This year's theme is 'Love Our World' - an emphasis on the environment & showing support for Ukraine.
Road closures will be in place until 12.30pm.
Newbridge
The parade begins at 12pm & will be available to live stream from the town's Parade Committee's Facebook page, here.
Diversions are in place allowing access to Whitewater Shopping Centre via Military Road, as roads close to facilitate the parade.
Access to the main street will be closed until 2pm.
