ESB crews are currently working to restore power to almost half a million customers.
Estimated restoration times are being uploaded to powercheck.ie - although further outages are expected as the effects of Storm Darragh continue to be felt.
It brought heavy rain and powerful gusts overnight, with fallen trees all over Kildare this morning, blocking some roads.
