Storm Isha Aftermath: Power Outages, Traffic Disruptions, and Fallen Trees Affecting Local Commutes

There are reports of a tree blocking the entrance to St David's National School in Naas.

There have been a number of reports of power outages, traffic lights out of action and trees down locally following Storm Isha.

Motorists are being advised to drive with caution, with traffic lights out in Kilcullen and on the the new section of road in Athy.

It's being cleared at the moment, with the school open to students this morning.

There are also reports of a low hanging tree after the flyover bridge heading into Newbridge, before Kinneagh Cross.

The road is also closed from Pollardstown/Curragh Race course to the Morristown lights.

There are also reports of a tree down on the Moyglare Road to Maynooth.

Two trees are also down on the road between Kilteel and Rathcoole.

It's understood to be passable at the moment, with motorists advised to proceed with caution.

There have also been reports of a tree down on the back road at White City between Naas and Sallins, along the canal.
