The Mid-East Region, Including Kildare, Had Over 400,000 People Employed In Q3 Of 2024

The CSO has released its Labour Force Survey for Q3 2024.

The number of young people with jobs is at its highest rate since before the recession.

Latest figures show 51% of under-24s are working - the highest level since the end of 2008.

The Mid-East region, which includes Kildare, Louth, Meath and Wicklow, had 407,900 people employed in Q3 of 2024.
