The Naas Local Electoral Area Has The Highest 14 Day Covid 19 Incidence Rate In Kildare.

There are 166 points between the highest and lowest LEA rates in Kildare.

The Naas Local Electoral Area has the highest 14 day Covid 19 incidence rate in the county, at 370.6 cases per 100.000 people.

145 people in that region were diagnosed with the virus between July 27th and August 9th.

The state's rate for that period was 422.5

Maynooth LEA's rate is the second highest in the county, with 97 new diagnoses and a rate of 326.3 cases.

The rate in the Kildare Local Electoral Area is 295.7, with 76 new cases.

There were also 76 new cases in the Clane LEA in those two weeks, and the rate there is 267.3.

The Local Electoral Area in Athy had a rate of 256.2, with 68 new cases.

The Celbridge LEA rate is 249.7, with 54 new cases.

There were 39 new diagnoses in the Leixlip Local Electoral Area during that timeframe, and the incidence rate is 245.9, per 100,000 people.

Newbridge LEA's rate is 214.2 cases per 100,000 people, with 76 new diagnoses.
