Two teenagers have been arrested and charged as part of an investigation into thefts in Celbridge and Maynooth.

It follows a number of searches carried out on Wednesday.

The teens were arrested in relation to the investigation of a number of thefts from vehicles, stolen vehicles and deception offences that happened in recent weeks.

The two were charged and appeared before the Children's Court this morning

Investigations are ongoing.
