Kildare County Council appointed Cathal O’Meara Landscape Architects to prepare the blue print last year.
A up-date on the master-plan for 41 acres of amenity land in Sallins is being requested.
The lands are between the Grand canal, the new Sallins By Pass and link roads, and the river Liffey.
Kildare County Council appointed Cathal O’Meara Landscape Architects to prepare the blue print last year.
A public consultation on what the people of Sallins would like to see happen on the site also took place in 2020 - and 78 submissions were made.

KCC said, in November 2020, that it would use these submissions to " inform the development of the masterplan. It is hoped to have a final masterplan prepared by April-May next year. The final masterplan will be advertised for planning permission (Part 8) publicly at that time to allow further submissions by the public on its contents. It is planned to present a report on the submissions on this planning permission (Part 8) for the masterplan to the Naas Municipal District members in Sept /October 2021 for them to decide on whether the masterplan should be granted permission to proceed or not. "
Fianna Fáil Cllr., Carmel Kelly, wants to know what is happening with that plan.
Her motion comes before the October meeting of the Naas Muncipal District later this morning.
