KCC says repairs are underway.
A water-main serving parts of Calverstown has ruptured.
Kildare County Council say areas affected include Blackhall and Wood Road.
Repairs are underway, and are scheduled for completion at 2pm.
It could take up to three hours, after that, for the system to refill and normal supply to resume.
