A man has died after a house fire in north Dublin.
He was found after emergency services were alerted to the blaze in Dublin 7 yesterday afternoon.
Mairead Cleary reports:
"Gardai were called to the scene in a house in Cabra at around quarter-past-2 yesterday afternoon.
Dublin Fire Brigade extinguished the fire, but the body of a man, whose age is unknown, was found afterwards.
He was pronounced dead a short-time later.
The body has been removed to the City Morgue for a post-mortem examination.
Investigations are ongoing, with the scene currently preserved for a technical examination. "
