A survey of 21,000 passengers by the National Transport Authority is suggesting Iarnrod Eireann could be losing out on over 12 million euro a year because of fare evasion.
The research found DART and commuter services are where passengers are most likely to dodge paying their fare, with 6 in every 10 not paying for their journeys.
