The former journalist Ian Bailey has died in West Cork.
He collapsed this afternoon on a street in Bantry at the age of 66.
The Irish Times is reporting his body has been brought to the morgue at Bantry General Hospital.
He became a suspect in the Sophie Toscan du Plantier murder case in 1996 but was never charged in relation to it.
