CAB Has Tracked Down Two Addresses In Dubai For Daniel Kinahan

The Criminal Assets Bureau is trying to serve papers to him as part of a High Court action.

The Criminal Assets Bureau has tracked down two addresses in Dubai for Daniel Kinahan, whom they’re trying to serve papers on as part of a High Court action.

The proceedings relate to the attempted seizure of a mansion in Dublin.

CAB believes No. 10 Coldwater Lakes in Saggart, Co Dublin came into the hands of the Kinahan Organised Crime Group in 2014.

Jim Mansfield Jnr used it to repay millions-of-euro given to him by the cartel to invest in various properties.

The son of the late hotelier, Jim Mansfield Snr, is in prison now for attempting to pervert the course of justice in a separate matter.

CAB is looking to seize the 5-bedroom luxury mansion and has already served papers on Thomas ‘Bomber’ Kavanagh, who ran the cartel’s UK operations.

Today, the High Court was asked if it could serve Daniel Kinahan by registered post to two addresses in Dubai.

He is believed to run the day-to-day operations of the organisation and the judge was told the likelihood of personally serving papers on him was very low.

The application was approved and once he gets the papers, Mr Kinahan will have 35 days to indicate his intention to defend the action.
