19 year old Racheal Diyaolu has returned safely to Ireland, following a dramatic rescue from Ukraine.
The Carlow student was evacuated from Sumy in the south east of the country last week, where she had moved to in November to study medicine.
After finally making it onto EU territory yesterday, Racheal was reunited with her family at Dublin Airport late last night.
The medical student was rescued on Monday along with her two friends, by two Scottish gardeners who drove them out of the city.
The students had been trapped in the university city Sumy since the invasion began 16 days ago.
