Road users urged to avoid the area
Fallen hay bales have brought the M7 Motorway in Kildare to a near standstill.
It is understood a truck shed it’s load while passing underneath a bridge just before Junction 9A Naas.
It led to a 25 kilometre tail back, all the way to Junction 14 Monasterevin.
Firefighters have attended the scene to clear the debris, but Motorists face lengthy delays.
Extra vehicles were expected on the M7 as 25,000 fans were heading to Croke Park for the All Ireland Hurling Semi final between Limerick and Waterford.
Road users are being urged to avoid the area if possible.
