Farm Safety Week is supported by several agencies including the Irish Farmers Association and The Health and Safety Authority.
Farm Safety Week begins today across Ireland.
This year, organisers are encouraging farmers, including Kildare's 2,500 farming families, to Rethink Safety and be more aware of the everyday risks and how to reduce them.

Farmers are being urged to take regular short breaks and build enjoyment into the working day to help alleviate stress.
IFA President Tim Cullinan says it's also important to carry out safety checks:
