Gardaí are asking for witnesses to all four incidents to come forward
Four people have died in four separate incidents on roads in Cork, Clare, Carlow and Limerick.
Gardaí are asking for any witnesses to come forward.
The first of these incidents happened in Cork last Saturday morning when a young boy on a bicycle was involved in a collision on the Cork Road into Carrigaline at the Ballinrea roundabout.
Gardaí confirmed this morning he passed away from his injuries in hospital yesterday evening.
At half twelve yesterday afternoon then, a man who was also on his bike was killed after he was hit by a car on the N67 at Baunmore in Clare.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and no other injuries were reported.
Around an hour later, a man in his 20s died after falling from a truck during the course of his work in the College Green area of Carlow Town.
Finally in Limerick, a teenage girl who was out walking in the Bank Place area of the city, was hit by a car around around twenty-to-twelve last night.
She was taken to University Hospital Limerick, where she has since passed away.
Gardaí are asking for witnesses to all four incidents to come forward, and they're appealing to anyone who has dash cam footage to make it available.
