A Garda in her 30s has been questioned after being caught with drugs at Dublin Airport yesterday.
The woman, who is based in Dublin, was found to be in "possession of a small quantity of controlled drugs".
She was questioned at Ballymun Garda Station and later released without charge.
The drugs have been sent for forensic analysis.
In a statement, Gardaí added: "The female concerned is a serving member of An Garda Síochána based in the Dublin region.
"No further information is available at this time. Enquires are ongoing."
