Government Urges Overseas Workers To Return To Tackle Housing Crisis

It's estimated 50-thousand additional workers will be needed over the next 10 years to keep up with housing demand.

Builders, and other tradespeople, who left Ireland are being asked to return to help build housing.

Over €750,000 is being spent on advertising in cities including London and Sydney, asking builders to relocate to help tackle the housing crisis.

The Government has launched a campaign aimed at construction workers living abroad.
